I have no idea why this service is getting such poor reviews — i had a great experience with my taxi from aurland to flåm. To start off, I needed a very last-minute taxi from Aurland and the operator found a guy already in flåm to take me. He was there within 10 mins at my spot right in front of GastroPub. The driver was very very kind and we chatted for the duration of the taxi ride. Highly recommend Pablo — he cannot be paid enough for not only his driving skills, but for his friendliness. I hope that he’s recognized because he made my stressful experience heading to the flåm station and making my train on time so much easier 🙂

Picked up quickly despite being a foreign number (see other reviews), came to vassbygddi within an hour and took us to Flåm. Saved us from a night camping in the rain! Very professional and courteous.

Warning, horrible experience: if you make the mistake of parking your vehicle in this spot (private parking) the owner will block you with his vehicle and then try to extort money from you. The price to resolve the situation will start at €300, then €100, and finally €50. Do not start negotiating with these crooks, immediately threaten to call the police (number: 112). They will quickly become very compliant and let you go.

If I could’ve done 0 stars I would’ve. There’s never been a more difficult taxi business to work with. They will not answer your calls if you’re a foreigner, and only will if you’re from Norway. We watched it happen. We tried multiple days getting taxis from them and they would not ever pick up. So unreliable. Worst taxi company ever.

Forferdelig dårlig opplevelse. Vi var flere grupper som ringte over periode på noen timer - taxisjåfør serverte flere ulike løgner om hvorfor han ikke kunne hente noen av oss. Herav blant annet at veg var stengt - noe som bare var tull. 2 timer til neste buss gikk. Heldigvis hyggelig kiosk i området.

The good: got where I needed to go and back. Punctual. Driver was at flåm exactly when he said he’d be. Made it to the train I needed to. I went to Stegastein from flåm. The driver was friendly and stopped at a few other viewpoints. I was so happy I was able to get to Stegastein.

The bad: it cost $170 USD. The day before I called and they said they’re “not interested in Stegastein and you need to book 3-4 days in advance” they were kinda rude but also I get that they’re busy and also they’re supposedly the only taxi service in the flåm area.
