Super soirée pour chercher les aurores boréales ! D’habitude Jann amène ses clients en petit groupe, mais là vu l’activité attendu nous étions assez nombreux. Jann nous a amené dans des endroits sombres pour bien voir les aurores qui étaient au rendez-vous ! Il prend soin de son pays et demande aux clients de ne pas géolocaliser les lieux pour éviter que dans 1 an ils soient tous envahis. Lui et son équipe sont drôles, chaleureux et ils expliquent beaucoup de choses sur le phénomène. Un très bon moment. Merci

Yesterday we joined Jann to see the Northern Lights and it was an absolutely amazing experience!

Not only Jann is extremely knowledgeable but also he is very funny which makes the trip even better. He took us to different places to see the lights and told us historical facts about Svolvaer. He also taught me the best way to capture the Northern Lights with my camera which I really appreciate!

The snowshoe tour was a great experience. The guide, Odd Krane, made it so worthwhile. Telling us about the animal trails, the region’s history and even some tales about Trolls. A true story-teller and made this tour a special one

Gracias a Odd por la experiencia que nos ofreció, un tipo muy simpático con bastantes conocimientos e información para darnos. Hicimos un trekking con raquetas de nieve por un paisaje espectacular, fue una mañana muy divertida.

Thanks to Odd for the experience he offered us, a very nice guide with a lot of knowledge of the area. We did a snowshoe trek through some spectacular scenery, it was a very fun morning.

We went on a Northern light trip organised as part of a package from staying at Svinoya. Jan took us out, gave us history and facts about Lofoten Islands. He was determined to help us see the lights, using satellite weather information to find gaps in the cloud, to drive to the right place and the result was exceptional.

I did a 2-day kayaking course for beginners (NPF Basics WetCard) in July 2024, and had fantastic experience with Lofoten Aktiv. Even before the course started, communication from the owner was great both online and over the phone. The course itself was fantastic. Odd and Eilif are both brilliant instructors - super patient, and also really fun to learn from! They both made me feel completely safe even as we learned more advanced techniques and started doing more challenging maneuvers out on the open water. The whole course was a great way to build my skills - and also fall in love with sea kayaking!
