This review is long overdue for one the best experiences of a lifetime! New Year's Eve in Tromsø we set off with Green Adventure in high hopes of seeing the Aurora. Driving out of the city our guides knew just where to go. We pulled over, and as we looked up a dim shape transformed into the most amazing dance of colors across the sky! Green, white and red, like angles streaming wings of magical lights! We were quite simply awestruck! Our guides were amazing! Moving with the Aurora to the best viewing spots, and taking photos for us. We are out til 2am reveling in the glorious display. The hot snack by the campfire at the end was delightful. I would highly recommend Green Adventure as being the best company for an Aurora experience ! Thank you !

This was truly an unforgettable experience with Green Adventure in Tromsø! At the start of the tour, I checked the forecast and saw that there was no expected northern lights activity—I have to admit I felt really disappointed. But our guide remained optimistic and was clearly experienced in reading the conditions beyond just the apps.

We drove for quite a while, chasing clearer skies, and the effort absolutely paid off. Eventually, the clouds parted and we were treated to an incredible display of the aurora borealis—it was magical and so worth the wait. The lights danced across the sky in vivid green waves. It honestly felt surreal.

The team took great care of us throughout the long evening. We were offered warm soup around a cozy fire, and they provided thermal suits for anyone feeling cold. Those little touches made all the difference. The guide was knowledgeable, friendly, and clearly passionate about making sure we had the best chance to see the lights.

What started as a night full of uncertainty turned into a highlight of our trip. I can’t recommend this tour enough—be patient, trust the team, and let the Arctic work its magic!

Czas spędzony w Tromsø był absolutnie NIEZAPOMNIANY! 🥰✨ Kat zadbała o każdy, absolutnie KAŻDY detal, żebyśmy mogli maksymalnie wykorzystać każdą chwilę – i udało się to na 200%! 🔥

Od zwiedzania urokliwego miasta, przez smakowanie lokalnych przysmaków 🤩, po górskie wędrówki zapierające dech w piersiach – emocje sięgały zenitu! A wisienką na torcie był relaks na bajecznej wyspie Senja – miejsce jak z marzeń! 🏞️🌊

To był najlepiej zorganizowany urlop, jaki można sobie wyobrazić – pełen przygód, śmiechu, zachwytów i wspaniałych wspomnień 💖 Kat – jesteś mistrzynią planowania i królową dobrej energii! 👑💫

I’m really happy that I booked a NL tour with The Green Adventure. Our guide Adam was the nicest - so friendly and helpful - and it was nice to have a campfire to warm up a little. Food and drinks provided were great. We didn’t have to drive very long until the sky was clear and there was activity - which was lucky - and the location Adam chose to stop was fantastic, with lots of different foreground options to take photos. Will definitely book again with them next time I go to Tromso!

to me, the true measure of success and is defined by how challenges are handled. and chasing the northern lights with the green adventure team was a success from the start to end. We arrived in Tromso on a difficult week due to rain and rising temperatures. Robert and his team emailed us hours beforehand with full transparency explaining that the chances of seeing the lights may be lower due to the weather. He gave us the option of a full refund or a chance to try the hunt with them. We took the chance and are so glad we did! The drive was filled with educating us on how to track the skies, jokes, music and light hearted conversations. Luke & Rob drove us close to Finland to find some lights and we were able to fulfill a lifelong dream of seeing the skies dance! They are so generous with taking beautiful pictures of everyone too! Thanks to their expertise and skill, we got engaged under the stars and lights!! We will be recommending The Green Adventure to everyone we know and will spend the rest of our lives thankful for this once in a lifetime experience! Thank you guys again!

Our Northern Lights tour with The Green Adventure was absolutely incredible! From start to finish, everything was perfectly organized, making the experience truly unforgettable.

Our guide, Kat, was fantastic—so knowledgeable and passionate about the Northern Lights and Norway. She shared fascinating insights, making the journey even more special. You can really tell she loves what she does, and her enthusiasm is contagious!

And, of course, the highlight of the trip—the aurora borealis! We were lucky to witness an absolutely breathtaking display of lights dancing across the sky. It was a magical moment that words can hardly describe.

To make the evening even more special, we gathered around a cozy campfire, enjoying traditional Sámi food and roasting marshmallows. It was the perfect way to warm up, relax, and take in the beauty of the Arctic night.

Our group of 15 people was also amazing, adding to the fun and friendly atmosphere. It felt like we were sharing this once-in-a-lifetime experience with friends.

I highly recommend The Green Adventure to anyone looking for a well-organized, informative, and unforgettable Northern Lights experience. It was truly a night to remember!

We had a great time with Adam and David. What the forecast said was going to be a good night ended up being complicated. We drove around for 5 hours and eventually set up camp in a snowstorm. However, the auroras came through. Adam remained positive, shared a lot of interesting information on the way, frequently changed locations to see if there was improvement. The meal was like a local MRE add water situation which was better than I thought and unique. We also did hot chocolate and marshmallows. The drive felt safe. The bus was comfortable transport. I’d highly recommend booking with this company
